Historique
Ancienne demeure du chanoine de Quimper, de Boisbilly, qui naquit à Morlaix en 1736 et mourut à Quimper en 1786. Il fut député du Chapitre de Quimper aux Etats tenus à Nantes en 1767. Il composa une chanson satirique contre le duc d'Aiguillon, gouverneur de Bretagne, qui lui valut six mois d'emprisonnement à la Bastille. Poète, ses oeuvres étaient appréciées dans les salons de la province.

History
Former residence of the canon of Quimper, de Boisbilly, who was born at Morlaix in 1736 and died at Quimper in 1786. He was deputy of the Chapter of Quimper at the States held at Nantes in 1767. He composed a satirical song against the Duke of Aiguillon, governor of Brittany, which earned him six months imprisonment in the Bastille. A poet, his works were appreciated in the salons of the province.
