History
The fountain feeds a public wash-house whose access is effected by a staircase whose retaining wall is adorned with a double row of arcatures framing bas-reliefs. The Holy Trinity is surrounded by two angels holding a shield. The other bas-reliefs represent monks and nuns in prayer.
