La chapelle dut être reconstruite au 17e siècle, après destruction, ainsi que le tombeau recouvrant le lieu où reposaient autrefois les restes du saint. A l'extérieur, l'enfeu renfermant le tombeau porte la date de 1633. Cet enfeu se compose d'une pierre tombale de style mérovingien, creusée en son centre par l'eau de la source. Le tombeau est contenu par une balustrade de pierre Renaissance et se compose, à la partie supérieure, d'un retable de pierre comprenant en son centre une niche abritant la statue de Saint-Elouan, ainsi que la mention 1656.

History
The chapel must have been rebuilt in the 17th century, after destruction, as well as the tomb covering the place where the saint's remains formerly rested. On the outside, the wall niche containing the tomb bears the date of 1633. This wall niche consists of a tombstone of Merovingian style, hollowed in its centre by the water of the spring. The tomb is contained by a Renaissance stone balustrade and consists, in its upper part, of a stone retable comprising in its centre a niche sheltering the statue of Saint-Elouan, as well as the mention 1656.
