Cette église était, avant la Révolution, une annexe de la paroisse de Merleac et était autrefois le siège d'un pélerinage réputé en l'honneur de la Vierge. C'est un édifice de plan en croix latine, avec chevet polygonal, sacristie et appentis. A l'ouest se trouve la tour surmontée d'un clocher polygonal. La façade ouest est percée d'une porte et d'une baie plein-cintre. La façade sud et le porche peuvent être datés du début du 16e siècle. Le reste de l'édifice serait du 18e (façade nord et nef : 1733 ; tour : 1751 ; choeur : 1791). L'église est bordée au sud d'un placître.

History
This church was, before the Revolution, an annex of the parish of Merleac and was formerly the seat of a reputed pilgrimage in honour of the Virgin. It is a building of Latin cross plan, with polygonal chevet, sacristy and lean-to. To the west is found the tower surmounted by a polygonal bell tower. The west facade is pierced by a door and a round arch opening. The south facade and the porch may be dated to the beginning of the 16th century. The rest of the building would be from the 18th century (north facade and nave: 1733; tower: 1751; choir: 1791). The church is bordered to the south by a churchyard.
