Quintin conserve quelques exemples intéressants de maisons des 16e et 17e siècles. Ces deux maisons présentent des façades Renaissance aux portes flanquées de colonnes ou pilastres et à grosses corniches typiquement bretonnes. L'arc plein cintre de la première a sa clef moulurée entre deux formes de banderolles. Les chapiteaux s'inspirent de motifs végétaux. Au sommet des allèges règne une moulure ornée d'oves. La corniche est une succession de corbeaux ou mutules, toutes traitées comme des mâchicoulis. La maison suivante possède également une bande au sommet des allèges, sans sculpture. La porte, également plein cintre, présente des piedroits décorés de pilastres avec quelques motifs géométriques. Une corniche supporte un haut fronton triangulaire.

History
Quintin preserves a few interesting examples of houses from the 16th and 17th centuries. These two houses present Renaissance facades with doors flanked by columns or pilasters and large typically Breton cornices. The round arch of the first has its keystone moulded between two forms of banderoles. The capitals are inspired by vegetative motifs. At the top of the sills runs a moulding adorned with ovolo ornaments. The cornice is a succession of corbels or modillions, all treated as machicolations. The following house also possesses a band at the top of the sills, without sculpture. The door, also round arch, presents jambs decorated with pilasters with some geometric motifs. A cornice supports a tall triangular gable.
