En 1691, Quintin est érigé en duché. Le château ducal est une construction inachevée datant de 1775. Quintin reprend le type du quadrilatère flanqué de pavillons en décrochement. Du château, ne subsiste qu'un double pavillon sur lequel s'articulent les soubassements de deux corps de bâtiment en retour d'équerre et les soubassements des autres pavillons. History
In 1691, Quintin was erected into a duchy. The ducal castle is an unfinished construction dating from 1775. Quintin resumes the type of quadrilateral flanked by offset pavilions. Of the castle, there subsists only a double pavilion on which are articulated the foundations of two buildings at right angles and the foundations of the other pavilions. It is an enormous corner construction with slanted retaining walls, opened with windows and adorned with offsets. The very thick foundation was to support a construction of which only the corner was completed. The castle presents two slightly projecting avant-corps to the west, and an addition of three openings to the south. A long wing of outbuildings is fused to the north-west, beginning with a head pavilion with a curved pediment door, forming two angles in return.
