En 1619, les Carmes s'installent à Quintin, construisant une église et un couvent, bâtiments ayant disparu après leur vente comme biens nationaux à la Révolution. Dans la jardin subsiste un ensemble en granit de trois bassins et une fontaine. La fontaine se compose d'un pignon de granit surmonté d'un port et ouvert d'une niche dans laquelle arrive l'eau. L'ouvrage est suivi d'une succession de bassins qu'il alimente en eau, l'écoulement s'effectuant par un système gravitaire.

History
In 1619, the Carmelites established themselves at Quintin, building a church and a convent, buildings which disappeared after their sale as national property at the Revolution. In the garden there remains an ensemble in granite of three basins and a fountain. The fountain is composed of a granite gable surmounted by a gate and open with a niche into which the water arrives. The work is followed by a succession of basins which it feeds with water, the flow taking place by a gravitational system.
