Ses proportions ramassées et ses matériaux, en schiste, sont propres à cette catégorie de moulins anciens de la Haute Bretagne. Les vents, jugés insuffisants, lui ont valu de recevoir un moteur à gaz d'appoint. History
Mill probably built in the 17th century, and belonging to the former abbey of Saint-Jacut-de-la-Mer. Its compact proportions and its materials, in slate, are characteristic of this category of old mills of Upper Brittany. The winds, judged to be insufficient, led to it receiving a supplementary gas engine. The cross-barred sails, associated with a low-pitched pivoting roof, and restored, are modelled on the process adopted from the outset.
