Paroisse cure de l'ancien évêché de Saint-Malo et du doyenné de Poudouvre, Lancieux possède une église des 14e et 16e siècle rebâtie en 1769, dont il ne reste que la tour et quelques vestiges. Le haut du clocher octogonal, en pierre, présente des arêtes de forme parabolique. Un oculus le surmonte, couvert par une petite toiture pyramidale et courbe, portée par des colonnettes. Le tout se trouve sur une tour carrée massive à gros blocs de granit où le jour entre par des fenêtres rectangulaires à linteaux légèrement courbes à l'intrados. La porte sous fronton triangulaire s'orne d'un tympan sculpté.

History
Parish cure of the former bishopric of Saint-Malo and of the deanery of Poudouvre, Lancieux possesses a church of the 14th and 16th centuries rebuilt in 1769, of which only the tower and some remains survive. The top of the octagonal bell tower, in stone, presents edges of parabolic form. An oculus surmounts it, covered by a small pyramidal and curved roof, carried by small columns. All of this sits on a massive square tower of large blocks of granite where light enters through rectangular windows with slightly curved lintels at the intrados. The door under a triangular pediment is adorned with a sculpted tympanum.
