Historique

History
Before the fire of 1927, this château presented an example of Breton civil architecture and consisted of two parts of characteristic style, dated by heraldic arms, representative of Breton architecture of the late 15th century and early 17th century. The medieval part can be dated between 1473 and 1500. The primitive appearance must have incorporated the staircase turret in the angle of two buildings, one of which would have been destroyed during the reconstruction of the 17th century. This part presents a door of entry with an ogival arch, windows with mullions, dormers decorated with lions at their rampants. The staircase tower is flanked, in its upper part, by a turret. The tower presents a decoration of Breton machicolations, with moulded set-backs terminating in a console. The construction that flanks it was erected around 1600. The chapel was built in the 18th century.
