Hôtel construit dans le dernier quart du 18e siècle. Il est habité par la famille Mercy-d'Argenteau, puis par la famille de Laborde et d'autres familles avant d'être vendu en 1834 à la compagnie d'assurances générales sur la vie. Plusieurs personnalités habitèrent la demeure au début du 19e siècle : Boiëldieu, Rossini...Les salons de réception et le grand salon carré, entouré de colonnes corinthiennes et possédant des bas-reliefs allégoriques en dessus-de-porte, ont gardé leur décoration du 18e siècle. La décoration de l'ancienne salle à manger serait due à Charles Garnier et date de 1890.

History
Hotel built in the last quarter of the 18th century. It was inhabited by the Mercy-d'Argenteau family, then by the Laborde family and other families before being sold in 1834 to the general life insurance company. Several personalities lived in the residence in the early 19th century: Boiëldieu, Rossini... The reception rooms and the large square drawing room, surrounded by Corinthian columns and possessing allegorical bas-reliefs above the doors, retained their 18th-century decoration. The decoration of the former dining room is said to be by Charles Garnier and dates from 1890.
