Hôtel palatial comportant 555 chambres, construit en 1912 pour la société d'assurance "La Séquanaise" par les architectes Charles Lefebvre et Louis Duhayon. Inauguré à la veille de la Première Guerre mondiale, l'hôtel est aussitôt réquisitionné pour la Croix-Rouge. Redevenu hôtel, il fermera de nouveau en 1929 en raison de la crise économique. Occupé par l'état-major allemand pendant la Deuxième Guerre, il ne retrouve sa clientèle qu'en 1948, pour fermer définitivement en 1976. Il a été transformé en résidence de luxe avec une galerie marchande en rez-de-chaussée.

Palatial hotel comprising 555 bedrooms, built in 1912 for the insurance company "La Séquanaise" by the architects Charles Lefebvre and Louis Duhayon.
