Historique
Gare et hôtel construits à partir de 1898 par l'architecte Victor Laloux, et inaugurés le 14 juillet 1900 pour l'Exposition universelle. L'édifice se compose d'un hall de 32 mètres de haut sur 40 de large et 138 de long. Les structures métalliques intérieures sont recouvertes à l'extérieur par une façade de pierre. De 1900 à 1939, la gare accueille les trains desservant le sud-ouest. En 1939, la gare ne dessert plus que la banlieue. Durant la Seconde guerre mondiale, elle sert à l'expédition de colis pour les prisonniers, puis de lieu d'accueil pour leur retour à la Libération. En 1973, fermeture de l'hôtel. History
Railway station and hotel constructed from 1898 by the architect Victor Laloux, and inaugurated on 14 July 1900 for the Universal Exposition.
