Cet hôtel fut acquis, en 1705, par le marquis de Nointel qui commanda à Antoine Watteau un certain nombre de décors peints, aujourdhui conservés dans diverses collections muséographiques ou privées, à lexception du plafond aux singes du petit cabinet sur terrasse. Lhôtel, très remanié, recèle également un certain nombre déléments en place comme des corniches stuquées ainsi que des boiseries. Lhôtel appartient, depuis 1930, à la Maison des Polytechniciens.

History
This hôtel was acquired, in 1705, by the marquis de Nointel who commissioned Antoine Watteau with a number of painted decorations, today preserved in various museum or private collections, with the exception of the ceiling with monkeys in the small cabinet on terrace. The hôtel, much altered, also contains a number of elements in place such as stuccoed cornices as well as woodwork. The hôtel has belonged, since 1930, to the Maison des Polytechniciens.
