Historique
Usine élevée vers 1900 pour l'entreprise du Docteur Pierre Mussot, fondée à Asnières en 1837 et transférée ensuite à Nanterre. L'établissement distillait l'alcool de menthe et préparait divers produits dentifrices : poudres, pâtes et eaux. Le bâtiment principal, construit en pierre avec des chaînages en brique, est surmonté d'un dôme coiffé d'un campanile. Dans sa décoration - polychromie de briques et de panneaux en céramique répétant un motif de chardons - la façade postérieure (bien visible depuis la ligne de chemin de fer de Saint-Germain-en-Laye) fait preuve d'un souci d'image de marque. Occupée par les parfums Forvil de 1914 à 1940, l'usine sert depuis 1966 de siège à la maison Natalys (vêtements pour enfants et futures mamans). History
Factory built around 1900 for the enterprise of Doctor Pierre Mussot, founded in Asnières in 1837 and subsequently transferred to Nanterre. The establishment distilled peppermint alcohol and prepared various dental products: powders, pastes and waters. The main building, constructed in stone with brick bonding, is topped with a dome crowned with a campanile. In its decoration - polychrome brickwork and ceramic panels repeating a thistle motif - the rear façade (clearly visible from the Saint-Germain-en-Laye railway line) demonstrates a concern for brand image. Occupied by Forvil perfumes from 1914 to 1940, the factory has served since 1966 as the headquarters of the Natalys company (clothing for children and expectant mothers). A fire in May 1993 spared the protected building and led to the construction of a new warehouse building, designed by architect André Chantalat.
