History
Located at the site of a famous open-air popular ballroom, attested at the beginning of the 19th century, the Elysée-Montmartre ballroom is destroyed by fire in February 1900. The façade of the current establishment, with a pediment adorned with a graceful female figure made in staff, dates from 1908, the metal roof structure of the thousand-seat hall being the remains of an earlier establishment, dating from 1897. Used in the 20th century as an ice rink and boxing and wrestling hall, the former dancing establishment today hosts concerts.
