History
Access to the metro station, designed in 1900 by the architect Hector Guimard for the Compagnie générale du Métropolitain de Paris. The station is situated on a section of line 2 inaugurated in 1902. The protection order covers all the surviving achievements of Guimard for the metro. On the occasion of works carried out in 1987, the surround of the access was transferred to Bolivar station on line 7 bis (Paris 19th).
