Les "Grands établissements balnéaires d'Auteuil" sont édifiés en 1929 par l'architecte Lucien Pollet, pour le compte de la société "Les Piscines de France". Réalisé dans un style paquebot et orné de quelques vitraux Art Déco réalisés par l'atelier de Louis Barillet, l'établissement comportait à l'origine deux bassins, l'un couvert et l'autre en plein air, sur plan en T. Jusqu'au début des années 1970, ce dernier était transformé en patinoire durant l'hiver. L'ensemble, fermé en 1989, est encore sans affectation en 2002.

History
The "Grand bathing establishments of Auteuil" were built in 1929 by the architect Lucien Pollet, for the account of the company "Les Piscines de France". Executed in a liner style and adorned with a few Art Deco stained-glass windows executed by the workshop of Louis Barillet, the establishment originally comprised two pools, one covered and the other open-air, on a T-shaped plan. Until the early 1970s, the latter was converted into an ice-skating rink during winter. The whole ensemble, closed in 1989, was still without assignment in 2002.
