Eglise construite de 1928 à 1935 par l'architecte Paul Tournon. Le plan de l'édifice s'inspire de celui de Sainte-Sophie à Istanbul. Il est réalisé en béton armé sur les plans de l'entreprise de François Hennebique, avec un revêtement de briques rouges de Bourgogne. Le programme décoratif retrace l'histoire de l'église militante puis triomphante, du 2e au 20e siècle, et fait appel aux Ateliers d'Art Sacré, composés des artistes suivants : Maurice Denis, Georges Desvallières, Nicolas Untersteller et Elizabeth Branly pour la peinture murale et la fresque ; Carlo Sarrabezolles pour la sculpture ; Louis Barillet, Paul Louzier et Jean Herbert-Stevens pour les vitraux ; Raymond Subes pour la ferronnerie ; Marcel Imbs pour la mosaïque et les cartons des vitraux de la crypte.

History
Church constructed from 1928 to 1935 by the architect Paul Tournon. The plan of the building is inspired by that of Hagia Sophia in Istanbul. It is realized in reinforced concrete according to the plans of the firm of François Hennebique, with cladding of red bricks from Bourgogne. The decorative programme traces the history of the church militant and then triumphant, from the 2nd to the 20th century, and calls upon the Ateliers d'Art Sacré, composed of the following artists: Maurice Denis, Georges Desvallières, Nicolas Untersteller and Elizabeth Branly for mural painting and fresco; Carlo Sarrabezolles for sculpture; Louis Barillet, Paul Louzier and Jean Herbert-Stevens for stained glass; Raymond Subes for ironwork; Marcel Imbs for mosaic and cartoons for the stained glass of the crypt.
