History
The church is constructed from 1928 to 1931 by Georges Debus, architect of the Société des Mines domaniales de potasse d'Alsace, owner of the mining town Sainte-Barbe, built at the same period. The architecture in red brick of the church is a reminiscence of medieval sanctuaries of Alsace and paleochristian basilicas.
