Dépendant de l'ancien château des Nassau Sarrebrück, ce moulin à farine est surtout protégé pour son aspect architectural. Une grande façade monumentale à trois niveaux, percée de baies régulières à encadrements chanfreinés et une toiture à la Mansart caractérisent la façade amont. Celle-ci porte les dates 1726 et 1787. La façade aval est d'une plus grande sobriété, les linteaux des baies du premier étage sont décorés de sculptures ; le linteau d'une des portes du rez-de-chaussée est orné d'armoiries seigneuriales. Les deux roues hydrauliques verticales ont été sauvegardées, elles utilisent un même canal, la plus grande est en bois et à aubes droites.

History
Dependent on the former castle of Nassau Sarrebrück, this flour mill is especially protected for its architectural appearance. A large monumental façade with three levels, pierced by regular openings with chamfered frames and a Mansart roof characterise the upstream façade. The latter bears the dates 1726 and 1787. The downstream façade is of greater simplicity, the lintels of the openings of the first floor are decorated with sculptures; the lintel of one of the ground floor doors is decorated with seigneurial arms. The two vertical hydraulic wheels have been preserved, they use the same canal, the larger one is wooden with straight blades.
