Du 18e siècle, le moulin à traction animale ou moulin à huile de la Petite Pierre est un des rares moulins à sang conservés en France. Il jouxte une puissante maison alsacienne, datée de 1669, construite par les frères Sheer, et restaurée en 1718. Les meules jumelées verticales en grès qui pivotent sur un lit circulaire sont un dispositif propre aux moulins à huile. Le moteur était actionné par un attelage de boeufs entraînant un manège à engrenages de bois. Son utilisation a cessé en 1948.

History
From the 18th century, the animal-powered mill or oil mill of La Petite Pierre is one of the rare blood mills preserved in France. It adjoins a powerful Alsatian house, dated 1669, built by the Sheer brothers, and restored in 1718. The paired vertical sandstone millstones which pivot on a circular bed are a device specific to oil mills. The motor was powered by a team of oxen driving a wooden geared manege. Its use ceased in 1948.
