Historique
Fondée en 1715 par Jean-Adam Stenger, issu d'une vieille famille de verriers, l'ancienne verrerie du Hochberg, est aussi appelée Hanauer-Glashütte. Elle passa au 19e siècle aux mains de la famille Teutsch qui se lança dans la fabrication du verre plat à vitre de couleur, et fonctionna jusqu'en 1868. Les habitations ouvrières ont été construites avant 1834.

History
Founded in 1715 by Jean-Adam Stenger, descended from an old family of glassmakers, the former glassworks of Hochberg, is also called Hanauer-Glashütte. It passed in the 19th century to the hands of the Teutsch family who engaged in the manufacture of coloured flat window glass, and operated until 1868. The workers' dwellings were built before 1834.
