Villa construite en 1934 pour Georges-Louis-Nicolas Schranz par l'architecte de Colmar, Jules-Pierre Haas. Située en bordure du Rhin Tortu, le parc comprend un petit port de plaisance. Le style paquebot de la villa l'avait fait appeler Narreschiff, la nef du fou. La restauration de ce rare exemple alsacien du style international a commencé en 1997.

History
Villa built in 1934 for Georges-Louis-Nicolas Schranz by the Colmar architect, Jules-Pierre Haas. Situated on the edge of the Rhin Tortu, the park includes a small pleasure harbour. The steamship style of the villa had caused it to be called Narreschiff, the ship of fools. The restoration of this rare Alsatian example of international style began in 1997.
