A la Révolution, le château se composait de quatre corps formant quadrilatère, avec cour centrale. Un pont-levis reliait le château à la ville, tandis qu'un pont en maçonnerie permettait l'accès au parc. Seule l'aile gauche subsiste aujourd'hui, avec galerie d'arceaux surbaissés et chapiteaux ornés d'hommes et d'animaux. La construction de cette aile pourrait être due à Charles II d'Albret.

History
At the Revolution, the castle consisted of four wings forming a quadrangle, with central courtyard. A drawbridge connected the castle to the town, whilst a masonry bridge allowed access to the park. Only the left wing survives today, with a gallery of flattened arches and capitals ornamented with men and animals. The construction of this wing could be due to Charles II d'Albret.
