Historique
La construction de l'église, bâtie sur des ruines romaines, remonte au 15e siècle. Le portail principal qui s'ouvre à l'ouest date du 14e siècle, présentant des chapiteaux sculptés au-dessus des colonnettes engagées dans les piédroits. Cette façade est surmontée d'un clocher à arcades comportant une galerie dont l'accès se fait par un escalier à vis situé à l'angle nord-ouest. Ce clocher est couvert de tuiles plates. Un porche précède la façade, dans lequel subsistent une petite fenêtre et les restes d'une ancienne cheminée. L'église se compose de trois travées de nef, avec bas-côtés sur la façade sud seulement, et d'un choeur carré.

History
The construction of the church, built on Roman ruins, dates from the 15th century. The main portal which opens to the west dates from the 14th century, presenting sculpted capitals above the colonnettes engaged in the jambs. This façade is surmounted by a bell tower with arcading comprising a gallery whose access is by a spiral staircase situated at the north-west corner. This bell tower is covered with flat tiles. A porch precedes the façade, in which remain a small window and the remains of an old chimney. The church consists of three bays of nave, with aisles on the south façade only, and a square choir.
