Historique
Le château existait en 1528. Avec ses dépendances, le manoir forme un quadrilatère. Le corps de logis principal, celui du 16e siècle, en occupe toute la face occidentale. Il est terminé, à ses angles, par quatre tourelles rondes, deux de plain-pied, deux en encorbellement. Une tourelle hexagonale adossée à la face orientale, sert de cage d'escalier. Le manoir est précédé, à l'est, d'une cour refaite aux 17e et 18e siècles, mais qui existait dès les débuts. Elle était entourée d'un mur crénelé, percé de meurtrières. Le parapet devait être muni d'un chemin de ronde qui communiquait avec le bâtiment principal. La porte d'entrée devait être encadrée par deux pilastres cannelés à chapiteaux doriques et surmontée d'un entablement avec corniche à denticules.

History
The château existed in 1528. With its dependencies, the manor forms a quadrilateral. The main dwelling, that of the 16th century, occupies the entire west face. It is terminated, at its angles, by four round turrets, two at ground level, two corbelled. A hexagonal turret attached to the east face serves as a staircase cage. The manor is preceded, to the east, by a courtyard rebuilt in the 17th and 18th centuries, but which existed from the beginning. It was surrounded by a crenellated wall, pierced with loopholes. The parapet was to be equipped with a wall-walk which communicated with the main building. The entrance gateway was to be framed by two fluted pilasters with Doric capitals and surmounted by an entablature with dentil cornice.
