Forteresse à l'origine, le château fut reconstruit au 17e siècle en grande partie. Dans le donjon du 14e siècle se trouve un escalier monumental avec rampe en fer forgé. Donnant sur la terrasse bordée de balustres Louis XIV, enfilade de salons aux murs et lambris dorés. La terrasse repose sur des arcades et entour les jardins. Une balustrade de modèle Louis XVI est posée au niveau du toit, et date du 19e siècle.

History
Originally a fortress, the castle was rebuilt in large part in the 17th century. In the 14th-century keep is found a monumental staircase with wrought-iron balustrade. Overlooking the terrace bordered by Louis XIV balusters, a succession of rooms with gilded walls and woodwork. The terrace rests on arcades and surrounds the gardens. A balustrade of Louis XVI model is placed at roof level, and dates from the 19th century.
