Domaine et maison du 19e siècle où vient habiter l'architecte René Guichemerre après des études à Paris. L'architecte se construit une nouvelle maison en 1960. Il y installe son cabinet et aménage le parc de trois hectares, lui donnant une grande richesse botanique avec, notamment, une allée de palmiers. La maison et le parc sont légués à la ville de Dax à la mort de l'architecte en 1988.

Estate and 19th-century house where architect René Guichemerre came to live after studies in Paris. The architect built himself a new house in 1960. He installed his office there and developed the three-hectare park, giving it great botanical richness with, notably, an avenue of palms. The house and park were bequeathed to the city of Dax upon the architect's death in 1988.
