L'hôtel est la demeure de la famille noble de Basquiat, barons de Toulouzette. History
The hôtel is the residence of the noble family of Basquiat, barons of Toulouzette. Work was carried out from 1761, before the hôtel passed, around 1830, following a marriage, into the hands of the Lamarque family. The building leans on the vestiges of the second ramparts of the town, built in the 15th century and destroyed during the sack of 1569 (defensive walls as well as a tower and the former ditches are still visible to the south). The hôtel and its park were given to the municipality in 1895. The park was opened to the public in 1896.
