Château construit vers 1764. Une grille ferme la cour. Le corps de logis aligne, sur deux niveaux, neuf travées de fenêtres. La travée centrale forme avant-corps avec porte en plein cintre et fronton triangulaire. De chaque côté de la cour, des murets bas précèdent de vastes communs. Des bâtiments bas interrompus par des portails à pilastres surmontés de vases, relient le corps de logis à des pavillons qui prolongent les communs. A l'intérieur, vestibule à décor néo-classique. Salon et salle à manger conservent leur décor de lambris de la fin du règne de Louis XV. Au 19e siècle, Barbey d'Aurevilly séjourne plusieurs fois à Labastide.

History
Castle built around 1764. A gate closes off the courtyard. The main dwelling aligns, over two levels, nine bays of windows. The central bay forms a projecting section with a round arch door and triangular pediment. On each side of the courtyard, low walls precede vast outbuildings. Low buildings interrupted by gateways with pilasters topped by vases connect the main dwelling to pavilions which extend the outbuildings. Inside, a vestibule with neoclassical decoration. The salon and dining room retain their wainscoting decoration from the end of the reign of Louis XV. In the 19th century, Barbey d'Aurevilly stayed several times at Labastide.
