L'église conserve un portail gothique avec un tympan et un bandeau d'imposte couverts de sculptures (représentation de l'enfer et du paradis ; Christ entre deux saints). L'intérieur a complètement été refait au 18e siècle. Sous le choeur se trouve une vaste crypte datant sans doute du 9e ou du 10e siècle. La crypte conserve deux petits réduits souterrains où étaient placés, pendant neuf jours, les fous que Sainte-Quitterie devait guérir. Face à l'abside de cette crypte se trouve un sarcophage chrétien couvert de bas-reliefs, supposé être le tombeau de la sainte, martyrisée à Aire-sur-Adour. Arcades byzantines avec colonnes à chapiteaux historiés. L'église a longtemps servi de cathédrale.

History
The church preserves a Gothic portal with a tympanum and impost band covered with sculptures (representation of hell and paradise; Christ between two saints). The interior was completely remade in the 18th century. Beneath the choir is found a vast crypt dating no doubt from the 9th or 10th century. The crypt preserves two small underground chambers where were placed, for nine days, the mad whom Saint Quitteria was to heal. Opposite the apse of this crypt is found a Christian sarcophagus covered with bas-reliefs, supposed to be the tomb of the saint, martyred at Aire-sur-Adour. Byzantine arcades with columns bearing historiated capitals. The church long served as a cathedral.
