Château reconstruit au 18e siècle par la veuve Raba et ses fils, riches négociants juifs portugais. Il est entouré de jardins sur lesquels s'ouvrent les architectures raffinées de pavillons et de fabriques. Après la guerre de 1870, Albert Ellissen redonne au château et aux jardins toute leur magnificence. Durant la Seconde guerre mondiale, l'occupation du château par les Allemands lui infligent d'importantes mutilations.

History
Castle rebuilt in the 18th century by the widow Raba and her sons, wealthy Portuguese Jewish merchants. It is surrounded by gardens onto which open the refined architectures of pavilions and garden buildings. After the 1870 war, Albert Ellissen restored to the castle and gardens all their magnificence. During the Second World War, occupation of the castle by the Germans inflicted significant mutilations on it.
