Historique
Eglise d'époque romane, agrandie à la fin de l'époque gothique par un bas-côté septentrional. Une partie du mur sud de la nef atteste l'existence d'un édifice préroman du 10e ou 11e siècle. Le second état, des 12e et 13e siècles, présente un plan simple : une nef, un faux transept surmonté d'un clocher sur coupole, fortifié au 14e siècle, et un choeur en abside semi-circulaire. Le portail occidental conserve un riche décor sculpté, historié sur les chapiteaux et à motifs végétaux sur les voussures. Le remplage du tympan est un ajout gothique. Le choeur est orné d'un décor peint du 19e siècle. Des chapiteaux historiés, représentatifs de l'art roman vers 1140, ornent l'arc triomphal du choeur et les piles du clocher. Ils représentent notamment la Tentation et le Sacrifice d'Abraham.

History
Church of Romanesque period, enlarged at the end of the Gothic period by a northern aisle. Part of the south wall of the nave attests the existence of a pre-Romanesque building of the 10th or 11th century. The second phase, of the 12th and 13th centuries, presents a simple plan: a nave, a false transept surmounted by a bell tower on a dome, fortified in the 14th century, and a choir in semi-circular apse. The western portal preserves rich sculpted decoration, historied on the capitals and with vegetative motifs on the voussures. The tracery of the tympanum is a Gothic addition. The choir is decorated with painted ornament of the 19th century. Historied capitals, representative of Romanesque art around 1140, ornament the triumphal arch of the choir and the piers of the bell tower. They represent in particular the Temptation and the Sacrifice of Abraham.
