Historique
La tour recouvrait sans doute autrefois le passage d'entrée d'un château dont les arrachements sont encore apparents contre les faces de la tour. Celle-ci remonte au 13e siècle. Au 14e siècle, une autre entrée fut donnée à la tour, dont le rez-de-chaussée devint une chapelle recouverte au 16e siècle de peintures murales. L'ouvrage carré est couronné de mâchicoulis. A la hauteur du sol se voient les boulins qui recevaient les solives du pont en bois jeté sur le fossé. Le couloir d'entrée a été muré aux deux extrémités à la fin du 14e siècle et converti en chapelle. Les peintures murales décorent les quatre faces et la voûte de cette chapelle.

History
The tower doubtless once covered the entrance passage of a castle whose broken arches are still visible against the faces of the tower. This dates from the 13th century. In the 14th century, another entrance was given to the tower, whose ground floor became a chapel covered in the 16th century with mural paintings. The square structure is crowned with machicolations. At ground level can be seen the putlog holes that received the joists of the wooden bridge thrown over the moat. The entrance corridor was walled at both ends in the late 14th century and converted into a chapel. The mural paintings decorate the four sides and the vault of this chapel.
