Le château neuf construit au 14e siècle était une forteresse de plan carré avec six tours et un donjon central. L'édifice est entièrement restauré et transformé par Viollet-le-Duc et l'un de ses élèves, Duthoit, entre 1860 et 1870. History
The new castle built in the 14th century was a fortification of square plan with six towers and a central keep. The building was entirely restored and transformed by Viollet-le-Duc and one of his pupils, Duthoit, between 1860 and 1870. The decoration, with its furnishings, its fireplaces and its paintings, is a creation of Viollet-le-Duc. Also built in the 14th century, the old castle remains only through imposing ruins.
