La ville était autrefois entourée d'une enceinte fortifiée construite en 1315. Un seul pan de mur subsiste. Il se compose d'une tour carrée dite Porte Garonne formant entrée de ville et de deux courtines flanquées à leur extrémité de deux tours rondes dont l'une a conservé les traces de son crénelage. History
The town was formerly surrounded by a fortified enclosure built in 1315. Only a single section of wall remains. It consists of a square tower called Porte Garonne forming a town entrance and two curtain walls flanked at their ends by two round towers, one of which has retained traces of its crenellations. The Porte Garonne presents a particular defensive arrangement, forming a small independent stronghold separate from the town walls.
