Historique
Hôtel construit au 18e siècle par la famille de banquiers portugais Raba. La façade sur rue comprend un avant-corps central en légère avancée. Le balcon central repose sur des consoles ornées de têtes de faunes. Aux premier et second étages règne un ordre géant constitué par des pilastres ioniques décorés de guirlandes et soutenant une corniche sur laquelle s'apuie une balustrade rythmée, dans le prolongement des pilastres, de pots à feu. L'importance de l'avant-corps est souligné, au premier étage, par deux fenêtres sous un arc plein cintre orné de mascarons. La cage d'escalier possède un plafond sculpté. Au premier étage se trouve un appartement qui devait être à l'origine les salons de réception. Des boiseries et des stucs ornent ces salons, ainsi qu'un parquet en bois précieux (ébène, acajou, chêne).

History
Hotel built in the 18th century by the Portuguese banking family Raba. The street façade comprises a central avant-corps in slight projection. The central balcony rests on consoles ornamented with heads of fauns. At the first and second storeys reigns a colossal order constituted by Ionic pilasters decorated with garlands and supporting a cornice on which rests a balustrade rhythmed, in the extension of the pilasters, by finials. The importance of the avant-corps is underlined, at the first storey, by two windows under a round arch ornamented with mascarons. The staircase cage possesses a sculpted ceiling. At the first storey is found an apartment which was originally to be the reception rooms. Woodwork and stucco ornament these rooms, as well as a floor in precious wood (ebony, mahogany, oak).
