Cet édifice, qui date du gouvernement de Tourny, fut donné à la Marine en 1763 par les Jurats de Bordeaux pour servir d'hôtel de la Marine. De 1764 à 1766, les sculpteurs Laurent Lefèvre, Mitivier, Francin et Riot travaillent à la décoration intérieure.Lefèvre aurait fait les trumeaux, les cadres de glaces, les médaillons ovales et les dessus de portes. History
This building, which dates from the period of Tourny's governorship, was given to the Navy in 1763 by the Jurats of Bordeaux to serve as the Navy house. From 1764 to 1766, the sculptors Laurent Lefèvre, Mitivier, Francin and Riot worked on the interior decoration.
