Des escaliers aboutissent à un bassin rectangulaire en contrebas du sol, dans lequel l'eau était jetée par deux têtes de satyres. La niche elliptique présente un dôme à double courbe portant un vase rempli de plantes d'eau. History
Staircases lead to a rectangular basin below ground level, into which water was cast by two satyr heads. The elliptical niche features a dome with double curve bearing a vase filled with water plants. The balustrades have corner motifs surmounted by metal extremities designed no doubt to launch a thin jet of water. In the central cartouche, the inscription PAX surmounting the three nails of the Passion and surrounded by the crown of thorns, recalls the motto of the Benedictines, the owners, contemporaries of the construction.
