Derrière ce bâtiment, et relié à lui par un étroit passage, un donjon rectangulaire du 12e siècle complète l'ensemble. Des mâchicoulis couronnent les tours et le corps de logis. Le donjon a conservé ses mâchicoulis de bois avec remplissage de torchis. Le château est entouré d'une enceinte de courtines.

History
Built in the 15th century on the site of a building of the 13th, the château consists of a main building flanked by two angle towers on either side of the stair tower placed at the centre of the dwelling. Behind this building, and connected to it by a narrow passage, a rectangular keep of the 12th century completes the ensemble. Machicolations crown the towers and the main building. The keep has retained its wooden machicolations with clay and straw infill. The château is surrounded by a curtain wall enclosure.
