In the 12th century, the church consisted of an unvaulted nave of two bays, a choir surmounted by a square bell tower, and a semicircular apse. Between 1340 and 1400, fortification of the edifice with elimination of the apse and closure of the choir by a flat chevet. The bell tower is provided with a defensive storey accessible by a narrow spiral staircase. The nave also receives a defensive level communicating with the bell tower. The western portal is narrowed and the façade reinforced with a work of modillions. In the 16th century, the church is enlarged with a northern aisle of two bays vaulted with ribs. Restorations in the 18th and 19th centuries.
