Historique

History
Building of vast proportion that can be attributed to the 13th and 14th centuries. The single nave is covered with groin vaults on ribs. To the east rises the square bell tower whose axis did not correspond to that of the building. This irregularity was corrected by building, on one of the sides, a filling wall which supports a groin vault. In the 18th century a closing decorated with columns was realized, closing off the sanctuary and leaving behind it a space which serves as a sacristy. In 1585, church and priory were burned. Under Louis XIV, the church was restored and a monastery built at its side, composed of a main dwelling and two wings.
