History
The cave is among the parietal art sites of reference on the scale of Western Europe. The site has yielded a certain number of portable objects. The cavity is essentially decorated with deep engravings located directly above the entrance porch and on the first metres of the vault. The engravings represent horses, a bison as well as other animals. A male figure, called the Sorcerer, is also visible, with a fairly detailed head, standing, legs bent, framed by a bison head and a horse forepart. This cave is characteristic of a Magdalenian sanctuary.
