Il représente le type du manoir périgourdin enclos de murailles que défendent, à un angle, une tour carrée et, à l'autre, une tour ronde. La porte en plein cintre, protégée par un hourd, s'ouvre dans la muraille où se voient encore les fentes pour le pont-levis. Les corps de logis forment un quadrilatère, avec peu d'ouvertures dans les parties basses. Petite chapelle avec croix de Malte. Boiseries du 17e siècle.

History
Built at the beginning of the 14th century, remodelled in the 15th and 16th centuries, this castle was partly ruined by the Huguenots in 1572. It represents the type of Périgord manor enclosed by walls defended, at one angle, by a square tower and, at the other, by a round tower. The round-arch door, protected by a hoarding, opens in the wall where can still be seen the slots for the drawbridge. The main dwellings form a quadrilateral, with few openings in the lower parts. Small chapel with Maltese cross. Woodwork from the 17th century.
