L'édifice se compose du château proprement dit, dont la construction remonte au 15e siècle, et de deux ailes ajoutées sous Louis XIV. Un porche couvert et deux murs à arcades rejoignaient les extrémités de ces ailes et fermaient ainsi une cour d'honneur à peu près rectangulaire. Sur la face postérieure s'étendaient un parterre en terrasse et une orangerie. Un parc complétait l'ensemble.

History
The building consists of the castle proper, whose construction dates from the 15th century, and two wings added under Louis XIV. A covered porch and two arcaded walls joined the ends of these wings and thus closed a roughly rectangular courtyard of honour. On the rear face extended a terraced parterre and an orangery. A park completed the whole.
