History
Already recorded in 1130, the church is an old priory of women dependent on the abbey of Fontevrault. The building, dating from the 15th century, retains a Romanesque bell tower from the 12th century. The vaults of the 15th century rest on rib vaults. The pillars present capitals decorated with foliage. The corbel stops represent angels, one bearing a phylactery, the other a shield with three fleurs de lys and a bezant. Other capitals are decorated with vine leaves and grape clusters. Externally, the corbels represent fantastic animals, skulls and devils.
