L'église date du 12e siècle et fut la première église paroissiale de Brantôme. Il n'en reste que le clocher roman à ouvertures et arcatures en plein cintre, et le départ de voûte sur croisée d'ogives. Des constructions à usage d'habitations rurales et de granges ont été accolées au clocher, dont la base sert d'étable. Dans le grenier de la maison près du clocher, il reste une voûte sur croisée d'ogives décorée de fresques du 15e siècle. Elles représentent les attributs évangélistes en ocre brun et rouge.

History
The church dates from the 12th century and was the first parish church of Brantôme. Only the Romanesque bell tower with round-arch openings and arcading remains, and the springing of the rib vault at the crossing. Constructions for use as rural dwellings and barns have been attached to the bell tower, whose base serves as a stable. In the attic of the house near the bell tower, there remains a rib vault decorated with frescoes from the 15th century. They represent the evangelical attributes in brown ochre and red.
