Cette ancienne église aurait été construite au début du 16e siècle par un abbé de Brantôme, Amanieu d'Albret, frère du roi de Navarre qui se retira à Brantôme. Elle fut transformée en halles au milieu du 19e siècle, puis abandonnée, avant de recevoir d'autres affectations. C'est un édifice à nef unique avec chapelles latérales construites entre les contreforts. Voûtes sur croisée d'ogives. Un clocher en échauguette s'élève à l'angle contigu au pont.

History
This former church is said to have been built in the early 16th century by an abbot of Brantôme, Amanieu d'Albret, brother of the king of Navarre who retired to Brantôme. It was converted into market halls in the mid-19th century, then abandoned, before being put to other uses. It is a building with a single nave with side chapels built between the buttresses. Rib vaults. A bell tower in the form of an échauguette rises at the angle adjoining the bridge.
