Dominant la vallée de la Dordogne, le château est situé en arrière d'une terrasse et se compose d'un corps de logis, flanqué de deux pavillons. Sur ces pavillons sont accrochées deux ailes en retour d'équerre, formant une cour en U. L'aile sud est prolongée par des écuries. Au sud de la demeure se trouve un pigeonnier carré qui a conservé son échelle tournante, ses trous de boulin et ses perchoirs.

History
Overlooking the valley of the Dordogne, the castle is situated behind a terrace and consists of a main dwelling, flanked by two pavilions. On these pavilions are attached two wings in a right-angled return, forming a U-shaped courtyard. The south wing is extended by stables. To the south of the dwelling is found a square dovecote which has retained its rotating ladder, its pigeon holes and its perches.
